Department of Higher Education inspects Durban colleges

Officials visited colleges in Durban to check that they met the Department's requirements.

THE Department of Higher Education visited colleges in Durban today as part of its drive to check whether the institutions are accredited and certified with the department to offer the courses they advertise.

Officials visited the Must Graduate Academy on Field Street which was found to be compliant but an error on the advertising brochure was pointed  out.

Department officials then visited visited the Imvana Training College in Pixley House where officials pointed out that the institution was not registered with the Department of Higher Education.
