Calendar aids cat sterilisation

The Compass Cares’ 2018 Cats of Durban ‘kitten edition’ calendar will be sold to raise much needed funds for the sterilisation of stray and feral cats.

DUE to the generosity of 16 local businesses, is was possible for the Compass Cares’ 2018 Cats of Durban ‘kitten edition’ calendar to be designed, printed and sold to raise much needed funds for the sterilisation of stray and feral cats.

Compass Cares, the corporate social investment (CSI) arm of Compass Medical Waste Services, has produced this calendar for two consecutive years and the A3, gift boxed, 2018 wall calendar is selling fast, for R150 each. All funds raised goes to NPO Cats of Durban for its sterilisation programme as well as for educating the public on the benefits of well-maintained feral cat communities.

Every R500 raised pays for one cat sterilisation, which prevents over 2 000 unwanted kittens over a four year period, and approximately two million unwanted kittens over an eight year period.
