A MAN has died and another was injured after a T-bone collision at the intersection of Sarnia and Umbilo Roads in Umbilo just after 10am today, 30 November.
Garrith Jamieson said Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that two vehicles had collided in the junction.
“Bystanders were performing CPR and paramedics took over, however despite their efforts, the patient passed away on the scene,” he said.
Jamieson said the second driver had sustained mild injuries and was stabilised on the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for further care.
“The events leading up to the collision are unknown however SAPS were on scene and will be investigating further,” he said.
