uShaka pageant winners crowned

It was a truly tough decision for the judges when they deliberated upon their decision on who would wear the esteemed crown in each category.

At the event were Andre Scott, Tracey Anne Buckley Aggett, Vanessa Marawa, Terence Pillay and Nompakamo Dzanibe.

USHAKA Marine World hosted the 13th annual Mr, Miss and Miss Junior uShaka Marine World finale at the weekend.

Mr uShaka, Philani Zondo, Miss uShaka, Naledi Mshengu and Miss Junior uShaka, Amahle Mgenge.

In the Miss Junior uShaka category, second runner up was Catelyn Mc Kenzie, first runner up was Jenna O’ Brien and the Miss Junior uShaka 2017 title went to the very confident and dynamic Amahle Mgenge.

In the Mr uShaka category, second runner up was Waheed Issufo, first runner up was Smiso Mlangeni and the title of Mr uShaka 2017 went to Durban’s Philani Zondo.

Finally, the coveted crown for Miss uShaka 2017 went to dynamic beauty, Naledi Mshengu, who is currently studying her Bachelor of Arts degree in film, television and performance. Taking second place as runner up was Umbilo resident Tina Nkangane and third place went to Thabile Makhanya.
