A Windermere Centre shopper was thanked for finding a woman's valuable watch.

When she realised her watch was gone she was frantic and searched the area but was left heartbroken when she couldn’t find the watch that she had had for many years.

It was with absolute delight that a few days later, Centre Management phoned her to say her watch had been found.

Shopper, Ivy Fisher had found the valuable watch and asked at Wimpy if anyone had reported a lost watch.

Ivy, who was in a hurry at the time, took the watch home with her and a few days returned to the centre with the watch and reported it to Centre Management.

A meeting was arranged for Monday when the two women met and Ivy returned the watch to a very grateful Vivian, who thanked her with a gift of a miniature orchid.
