TWO people were shot and another two injured in an attempted cash-in-transit heist outside Makro near the Value Centre earlier today.
According to Kyle van Reenen of Marshall Security, police acted swiftly and thwarted the attempted heist.
The suspects tried to get away in their vehicle but crashed and a gunfight ensured between police and the suspects.
Two civilians were shot and sustained serious injury and another two sustained minor injuries and are all being treated by paramedics.
