Aspiring models need your votes

Poise, practice and posture is all in a day’s learning for the 2017 Durban Fashion Fair New Faces models.

EXCITEMENT is building for the annual Durban Fashion Fair (DFF) 2017 where more than 40 designers – including seven from Africa – will take to the ramp in 16 shows at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre from Wednesday, 23 August to Friday, 25 August.

The DFF is followed by the DFF Recognition Awards Show on Saturday, 26 August, which honours and recognises the top designers and models taking part in the DFF 2017.

Presented by the eThekwini Municipality as part of its successful Fashion Development Programme, the DFF is now in its sixth year. The Municipality has invested substantial funds in internships, industry related training programmes, networking sessions as well as various lifestyle and modelling programmes and boot camps over the years, which the current “crop” of new faces are now experiencing.

From Tuesday, 1 August, see the DFF New Faces Model Competition on Facebook and vote for your favourite model and stand in line to win double tickets to the opening night show.

Tickets will be on sale at Computicket from Tuesday, 1 August.
