A GANG of five armed robbers held up customers and staff at a shop in Berea Road on Wednesday night.
According to Blue Security community and media liaison officer Andreas Mathios, the gang stormed into the shop at around 7.10pm and held up staff and customers at gunpoint.
“The gang robbed their victims of cellphones and cash and fled down Berea Road. No injuries were reported,” Mathios said.
Berea SAPS attended the scene of the crime.
