Awarenesses

CAPTAIN Naidoo urged residents to ensure they don’t become victims of vehicle theft.
“Park in well lit areas if possible and park as close as possible to where you are going.
When locking your vehicle make sure physically that the vehicle is locked as a precaution against remote jamming,” said Naidoo.
He urged motorists to always be aware of their surroundings.
“Also make sure you activate your alarm system when parking your vehicle.
If possible, fit a tracking device to your vehicle as it increases the rate of recovery if your vehicle is stolen,” he said.
