Volunteer marine education guides needed

uShaka Sea World is looking for education volunteers.

  1. USHAKA Sea World is accepting applications for new volunteers to work as Marine Education Guides.

If you are between 24 and 70 years old, are relatively fit, have a passion for marine conservation, have free time during the week or weekend, can get to uShaka Sea World easily and are prepared to work for no salary, this could be for you.

Comprehensive training will be given, so no prior biological or educational experience is necessary. What is needed is an enthusiasm for marine conservation and great communication skills. Speakers of all languages are welcome, although fluency in English is essential.

Presentations will be held on Tuesday, 27 June at 10am and on Wednesday, 28 June at 6pm, hosted at the uShaka Sea World Education Centre based at uShaka Marine World.

For more details, or to book your seat at one of the presentations, contact Kathy Drummond on 031 328 8192 or email kdrummond@seaworld.org.za.
