Investigative journo talks on Gupta e-mails expose

The community is invited to the next Active Citizens Movement Durban Central branch meeting.

THE community is invited to the next Active Citizens Movement (ACM) Durban Central branch meeting on Saturday, 24 June at St Aiden’s Anglican Church, 33 ML Sultan Road, Durban, from 2pm to 4.30pm.

Guest speaker will be Sam Sole, AmaBhungane investigative journalist who will speak on the topic of the exposure of the Gupta emails.

There will also be an election of the executive committee members of ACM Durban Central and a presentation on the concept of active citizenry.

The ACM is a non-racial, civil society formation aiming to protect and advance the interests of communities, groups and organisations in the pursuit of a caring society. This includes sectors such as education, health, labour, business, farming and agriculture. The group aims to achieve this through people participation and accountability of public officials.

Membership is open to all citizens and organisations subscribing to the Constitution and the programme, which is a commitment to clean governance and the creation of a caring society.
