WATCH: Marchers call for more security to protect women

DUT students, political parties and eThekwini Municipality organised a march this morning against violence on women.

VIOLENCE against women was top of mind at a protest march organised by the Durban University of Technology Student Representative Council,  eThekwini Municipality and various political parties.

The march follows in the wake of a wave of media reports where women have been victims of violence, in many instances at the hands of the men closest to them.
