BAT Centre celebrates women in jazz

THE BAT Centre is celebrating the wonderful strong women who have played a pivotal role in shaping our lives with a fully women-powered lineup at the International Jazz Extravaganza (IJE) today, Sunday, 14 May.

The IJE is growing into Durban’s own signature event for jazz connoisseurs in South Africa and those who are visiting. It is an intimate one-night only affair featuring leading international and South African jazz musicians. It features a superior five act line-up, five-star hospitality and an all round best-of-class experience.

Performing at the event until 8pm are Omagugu Makhathini and Gloria Bosman.
