The girls arrived laden with loaves of bread, margarine and peanut butter and set about making small mountains of sandwiches for the programmes run by The Domino Foundation.

Once they had completed their “kitchen duties” the girls played with the babies and toddlers.

Grade 3 teacher Michele Baird said: “It has been wonderful for our girls to have the opportunity to give to little people who have not had the same chances as they have had. Every Maris Stella girl is encouraged to live the church’s vision as a member of a community serving humanity.”
