DURBAN Central Detectives are looking for the next of kin of a 29-year-old man who was struck by a motor vehicle on Pine Street near the Workshop. The family of the man is being sought to assist in identifying the body of the deceased.
According to police, the victim was allegedly knocked down on 18 February around midnight.
He was transported to hospital, but later died from the injuries he had sustained.
The man was known as Scelo Shezi, but the whereabouts of his family is unknown. Anyone with information that might assist in tracing his next of kin is urged to contact Durban Central police, Constable Thubelihle Mhlongo on 031 325 4218 or 083 330 2228.
