Enter writing competition

Write down your feelings about living in a country which is against racism in a writing competition.

YOUNG writers have until 31 March to enter the SA Youth Essay Writing Competition 2017 Against Racism.

Essays should be a minimum of 1000 to 2000 words and may be handwritten or typed. Essays can be written in any of the 11 South African languages and must be the original work of the entrant.

There will be prizes for the top three essays as well as prizes for 12 runners-up. The finalists will be taken to Johannesburg to receive their prizes at an award prize-giving.
