Chaos in Durban CBD

Six vehicles were involved in a collision in the Durban CBD on Saturday night.

THREE people were injured after six vehicles were involved in a collision at the intersection of Anton Lembede (Smith) and Dr Yusuf Dadoo (Broad) Streets on Saturday evening.

According to Garrith Jamieson from Rescue Care, paramedics arrived on the scene around 9pm to find chaos.

“Six vehicles had been involved in a serious collision. Three people had been injured with two sustaining serious injuries. Both required advanced life support intervention and once stabilised on the scene were transported to various Durban hospitals,” he said.

Jamieson said the exact cause of the collision is unknown however SAPS were on scene and will be investigating further.
