WATCH: Durban warehouse catches fire
Strong winds and wax panels inside the warehouse are reportedly making it difficult for the fire department to deal with the blaze.
FIRE fighters are currently battling huge flames which have engulfed a warehouse on South Coast Road. Garrith Jamesion of Rescue Care Parademics said strong winds were helping spread the blaze. The billowing spoke from the blaze has been spotted as far as uMhlanga and Durban North.
“Rescue Care paramedics are currently on scene. One patient has been injured and the according to police the wax panels inside the warehouse are making it difficult for the fire department to deal with the fire.”
The 35-year-old man reportedly suffered minor burns to his hands.
