Lessons from a traffic light

Find out what Durban entrepreneur and public speaker Grant Gavin learnt after spending a day on the streets disguised as a street beggar.

THE Rotary Club of Durban presents the talk Lessons from a Traffic Light with guest speaker, Grant Gavin, on Tuesday, 4 April at Berea Bowling Club, intersection of Ferguson and Brand Roads, Glenwood at 5pm for 5.30pm.

What is it like to stand on a street corner, shabbily dressed, depending on the kindness of the passing public to support you? Have you ever given it serious thought?

In January 2016 Durban entrepreneur and public speaker Grant Gavin spent a day on the streets disguised as a street beggar. He wanted to test people’s reaction to giving. What he did not expect was that this experience would prove to be one of the most powerful learning experiences of his life!

A truly commanding message that will test your attitude towards giving, will question why you put up barriers and harbour insecurities in your own life. Learn how to challenge your fears head on and completely rethink the way you approach your life.

Grant will deliver a message from a place very few people have ever dared to go.

A charge of R30 per head will be levied to cover the cost of snacks.

Contact Olivia on 084 909 0123 or John on 083 457 9842 on or before Friday, 31 March.
