Driver killed in fatal collision
The driver was found some distance from his vehicle.
THE driver of a SUV was killed on Sunday evening after his vehicle rear-ended a light motor vehicle on the N2/N3 split in Durban.
ER24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived to find the SUV lying on its side while the light motor vehicle had come to stop a short distance away.
Para medics found the driver of the SUV lying some distance away from his vehicle. He had already died of multiple fatal injuries by the time paramedics reached him. A man and a woman, who were in the light motor vehicle, sustained minor injuries and were treated on the scene before being taken to hospital.
The cause of the collision is not yet known.
