GLENWOOD High School waterpolo players, Dylan Cronje, Gabriel Stopford and Slade du Randt were recently selected for the SA Schools U19 team.
The Schools Water Polo South Africa (SWPSA) event was held in Durban from the 7 to 11 December and the final of the boys’ U19 section was between KZN and Western Province. The match was a closely contested affair and was eventually won by the hosts, KZN 10-9.
At the conclusion of the tournament, the SA Schools U19 team was announced, with Cronje, Stopford and du Randt being selected.
Cronje was also awarded the trophy for the Player of the Tournament.
