Minister to discusses the constitution

The South African Constitution will be discussed at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli Memorial lecture at UKZN.

THE question of whether the South African Constitution is an obstacle or a catalyst in fostering Nation Building and Social Cohesion in our historically divided society will be discussed at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli Memorial lecture on Saturday, 26 November at 12.30pm.

Minister Jeff Radebe (MP), the newly appointed Public Protector – Advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane, and Dr Wally Serote, one of the Living Legends Legacy advocate for heritage will address this question in the lecture which will take the form of a panel discussion facilitated by Peter Ndoro. The event takes place at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), Westville Campus.

The audience will have an opportunity to engage with the speakers and with the panel. The programme format will include remarks by the Vice Chancellor, Chairperson of the Luthuli Museum, the Chief Albert Luthuli Foundation and the National Department of Arts and Culture.
