A MAN believed to be in his seventies fell to his death in Durban this morning.
According to Ceron Lennox, advanced life support paramedic from Rescue Care, just after 10am paramedics responded to a call to the N3 Durban bound just after the Musgrave Road Bridge, where they were told a man was lying motionless on the highway.
“Paramedics arrived to find the elderly man on the busy highway. He had fallen from the pedestrian bridge above. He was assessed but had unfortunately sustained fatal injuries. There was nothing more paramedics could do and the man was declared deceased on the scene,” said Lennox.
Lennox said details leading up to the man falling are unknown at this stage however SAPS were on scene and will be investigating further.
