CHILD Welfare Durban and District’s Donation Station charity shop will host a Spring jumble sale on Friday, 30 September at 20 Clarence Road, Greyville, from 9am to 1pm.

Items on sale include clothing, books, toys, linen, crockery and cutlery, among other things. Funds generated from this project will be used for the services Child Welfare provides to the orphans and vulnerable children of Durban.

THE next I heart Market is on Saturday, 1 October at Imbizo Lawns, Moses Mabhida Stadium from 9am to 2pm.

I heart market showcases innovative, handmade, homemade and locally designed crafts, art, fashion, jewellery, home-ware, kiddies goods, artisanal foods and recycled, up cycled and second hand gems.

Entrance is free.

THE Rhodesia Association of South Africa is hosting John Edmond, the renowned songwriter and singer from the days of Rhodesia/Zimbabwe, on Sunday, 2 October, at 11.30am for noon for a fun-filled afternoon of Music as a Barnyard Theatre type show at the Natal Mounted Rifles, Dixie Adams Hall, intersection of NMR Avenue and Walter Gilbert Roads.

Take your own picnic basket. Bar facilities will be available. Entrance is R100 and R75 for pensioners. Seating is limited and booking is essential.
