Bikers ride for hope

All bikers, clubs and outdoor enthusiasts are encouraged to join in the 2016 Bikers4Hope campaign and ride for a worthy cause.

THE Sunflower Fund and members of the KZN Motorcycle Federation are encouraging all bikers, clubs and outdoor enthusiasts to join in the 2016 Bikers4Hope campaign and ride for a worthy cause.

The Breakfast Ride is scheduled for Sunday, 2 October and will start at 9.30am sharp from the NPN Auto Centre (Shell Garage) at the corner of St. Johns Avenue in Pinetown to the Shongweni Farmers and Craft Market.

Registration fee is a donation of R80 per person and the first 200 entries will receive a cloth badge and a Sunflower Tope (Tube of Hope). Food and drinks will be on sale after the ride.

There will be live music, lucky draw prizes, a raffle and biker expo stalls. Funds raised from the mass ride will enable The Sunflower Fund to create awareness, and to educate and recruit more stem cell donors to increase the number of people registered on the South African Bone Marrow Registry (SABMR) and offer the hope of life to someone suffering from a chronic blood condition like leukaemia.

For more information on the ride, expo stalls and prize sponsorships, contact Rui Rodrigues on 082 800 4108 or ruicma@gmail.com or Allison Ekstrand on 079 881 3056 or allison@sunflowerfund.org.za.
