Jehovah’s Witnesses gather for conference

All are welcome to the Jehovah’s Witnesses 2016 Convention at The Moses Mabhida Stadium this weekend.

FROM Friday, 9 September, Jehovah’s Witnesses in KZN will host their 2016 “Remain Loyal to Jehovah!” Regional Convention at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

Conventions are held worldwide annually and the 2016 Series started in the United States on Friday 20 May.

Local Witnesses in KZN, from Port Shepstone in the South to Richards Bay in the North including the Midlands participated in a special campaign which started on the 18 August inviting their neighbours, family and friends to attend this year’s three-day convention by means of a colourful invitation.

Highlights of the convention are talks and short videos on Friday, where the audience will learn how Jesus Christ set a perfect example as God’s “loyal one.”

On Saturday, see what the Bible book of Job teaches about remaining loyal despite intense suffering, and on Sunday, by means of a gripping feature-length film, observe how King Hezekiah “held fast to Jehovah” while being besieged by his enemies.

The programme will be delivered in English, Zulu and sign language simultaneously. The Bible will be used extensively to develop the theme.

Loyalty is an essential part of any healthy relationship. All attending will learn how to develop stronger bonds with friends, family members and, above all, with God.

The public are welcome to attend. Admission is free and no collections are taken.
