UMBILO Congregational Church, 498 Bartle Road, Umbilo, will host a fleamarket on Saturday, 3 September from 6am to noon.

There’ll be cakes and goodies, a second-hand bookshop, white elephant, second-hand clothing and household items, plants and lots of other stalls.

KZN Quilters Guild will host a quilt show on Saturday, 3 September at Durban Girls’ High School, Lena Ahrens (Manning) Road, Glenwood, from 9am to noon.

I HEART Market takes place on Saturday, 3 September at Imbizo Lawns (opposite Nino’s), Moses Mabhida Stadium, Isaiah Ntshangase Road, Durban from 9am to 2pm.

Browse through stalls offering nnovative, handmade, homemade and locally designed crafts, art, fashion, jewellery, home-ware, kiddies goods, artisanal foods and recycled, up cycled and second hand gems.

MONTPELIER Church in partnership with Thembela Home for Retired Persons will host a spring fair on Saturday, 3 September in the Salvation Army Montepelier Church hall, 103 Montpelier Place, Greyville, from 9am to noon.

Stalls include new and second-hand clothing, jewellery, handmade crafts, books and toys, white elephant, furniture, food, white elephant, a tea garden and a kiddies’ corner.

NATAL Settlers’ Memorial Homes is having its annual fundraising fete on Saturday, 3 September from 8am till 2pm.

The local community is encouraged to support the home. The fete is even bigger this year, with loads of affordable goodies to buy and scrumptious food and treats to eat. The home is situated at 17 Hutchinson Road, Umbilo.

HEALERS KZN will host a Holistic Fair on 3 September at Kloof Civic Hall from 9am to 3pm.

THE Theosophical Society in Durban will host another free public presentation on Sunday, 4 September starting at 10am at 306 Avondale Road, Morningside, Durban. Speaker is Debra and the talk will be on Transcending human limitations – Spiritual surrender, the cosmic consciousness and your higher self. Debra is a naturopath, integrated energy healer and author of An Affirmation a Day – Thoughts Change Lives. She brings together extensive training and expertise in wellness both in the corporate environment and as a personal transformation coach.
