Hikers take on Sani Pass

Walkers took on a hike up Sani Pass to raise funds for CHOC.

CHOC held its 7th annual CHOC Walk to Sani Pass on 6 August, organised by Joy de Witt and her family.

This year approximately 480 people registered to walk up the mountain, and according to CHOC regional manager, Agie Govender, it was a stunning day to remember.

Govender said all funds raised by this event goes towards providing services to children with cancer and their families.

“All our services a free of charge to families devastated by the diagnosis of childhood cancer. Most of our families live in abject poverty and as an organisation it is our responsibility to provide support. We thank Joy and her family for organising this walk. We also thank all the walkers who spent the day with us as well as all the service

providers who made the day a success,” she said.
