ACTION in Autism honoured all their women who support people with autism with a Mad Hatter High Tea fundraiser last Saturday, at the George Campbell School Hall.

Mothers, grannies, sisters, aunts and caregivers donning festive hats in tune with the theme, spent the afternoon sharing their struggles and triumphs while being empowered by leading guest speakers. The women were also spoilt with the sultry sounds of local vocalist Thuli Zama, accompanied by Andile Mnikathi on piano. A feast of sweet and savoury treats also greeted the ladies who were treated to mini manis, pedis and shoulder massages.
