UMBILO Congregational Church, 498 Bartle Road, Umbilo, hosts a fleamarket on Saurday, 6 August from 6am to noon.

Stalls include cakes and goodies, second-hand bookshop, white elephant, clothing, household items, plants and more.

THE KwaZulu-Natal Branch of the South African Military History Society will meet on Thursday, 11 August at 7pm for 7.30pm at the Murray Lecture Theatre, Department of Civil Engineering, University of KwaZulu-Natal Howard College Campus.

There will be two talks, the Darrell Hall Memorial Lecture: Military Geoscience Survey of our Battlefields by Michelle Dye and Publications: A historiography of the Anglo-Boer War by Professor Fransjohan Pretorius.
