Calling all students

Students and school learners are encouraged to attend the Student Expo 2016.

STUDENTS will get the opportunity to explore all their options when it comes to tertiary education and suitable working careers at the Student Expo South Africa at City View Shopping Centre from 9am to 6pm on Friday 26 August, and 9am to 3pm on Saturday, 27 August.

South Africa’s largest student focused Expo has evolved to offer an informative and stress-free student career advice experience. The Expo targets more than 1000 private and upmarket government school pupils as well as top university faculty students to help them further professional careers in the legal, medical, engineering, commerce and culinary arts spheres. It brings together professionals from legal and accountancy partners, entrepreneurs, engineers, doctors, scientists, renowned chefs and even overseas sailing instructors.

Prospective students can meet with representatives from a wide range of universities to determine which school and programme best meets their needs. Students will gain insight and career advice from leading field specialists to better understand the expectations and roles of their potential professions. They can also learn how to secure student loans and get advice on how to manage finances when living away from home, as well as meet and share information with other school leavers and parents.

Graduates will be able to explore career opportunities both locally and internationally. They may attend talks where they are given pointers on how to develop and write an effective and professional Curriculum Vitae as well as how to attend a professional interview. Graduates will also have the opportunity to meet the top Graduate Recruitment Companies in South Africa.
