MORNINGSIDE was the scene of another shooting incident this morning, after a waitress was shot near Avondale and Clarence Roads last weekend.
This is the third shooting incident in as many weeks.
Information about the shooting is unclear, however the alleged shooting occurred between suspects and a police officer near a Morningside bakery this morning.
According to reports, the police officer allegedly noticed three armed suspects attempting to rob a bakery and he immediately sprung into action and was shot. Two suspects were also shot and two firearms were allegedly recovered in the shooting.
Last weekend a waitress was shot close to Avondale and Clarence Roads, while a shooting in Florida Road claimed the life of a man the previous week.
