A MOTORCYCLIST was killed after he lost control of his motorbike and collided with a wall on Stanger Street near the CR Swart police station around 2am on Saturday morning.
Rescue Care operations director, Garrith Jamieson said paramedics arrived to find the critically injured man lying on the roadway. “They immediately began treating him with advanced life support intervention, however his injuries were to severe and he went into cardiac arrest,” explained Jamieson.
According to Jamieson, paramedics tried for more than thirty minutes to resuscitate the biker, however he passed away at the scene.
Last Sunday a motorcyclist was seriously injured in an accident on Overport Drive and Ridge Road intersection.
SAPS were on scene and will be investigating the cause of the accident.
