A LARGE festive crowd enjoyed perfect weather and excellent sport at Glenwood Prep’s annual Founders’ Day recently.
The Glenwood Prep netball girls entertained the visiting Pelham Senior Primary and Glenashley Preparatory teams and a morning of excellent netball was enjoyed by all. The highlight was the first team game which Glenwood Prep won 32-2 against their Pelham counterparts.
The large crowd also enjoyed a morning of excellent rugby between Glenwood Prep, Pelham Senior and DPHS teams, and the Glenwood High Brass Band performed before the 1st XV rugby match.
The first XV fixture did not disappoint and the Glenwood Prep team produced a wonderful exhibition of running rugby to beat their Pelham counterparts 62-0.
