Free dermatology treatment offered

Be trained on common skin conditions that are often presented by patients at health care institutions.

THE University of KwaZulu-Natal’s (UKZN) Dermatology Unit is conducting an outreach programme where primary health care staff across the province will have an opportunity to be trained on common skin conditions that are often presented by patients at health care institutions.

As part of the programme, eThekwini Municipality has partnered with UKZN dermatology specialists who will offer free assessment and treatment to people living within the Municipality and have persistent skin conditions.

The one-day clinic will be conducted on Wednesday, 4 May at 9 Archie Gumede Place, City Health Building (opposite Metro Police Headquarters) from 9am to 3pm.

To book space, interested parties must contact Ntombifuthi Mangeni on 031 311 3547 or ntombifuthi.mangeni@durban.gov.za before 4pm on Tuesday, 3 May.

Bookings are accepted on a first come first served basis. Space is limited to 130 people only.
