Crime awareness tips

The public must always be alert when walking or driving along roads, Lieutenant PN Naidoo said. “The public must always check that they are not being followed.

“Park vehicles in well lit areas and try not to approach your vehicle when you are alone at night and never leave valuables exposed in vehicles. Always make sure vehicles are locked by physically checking the doors,” he added.

Naidoo said the management and staff of SAPS Berea were grateful to all the people and companies who assisted to make their Crime Awareness Day a success.
