Woman injured in accident

A PEDESTRIAN was injured in an accident in the Durban CBD today (Wednesday, 13 April).

According to Chris Botha from Netcare 911, at 3pm paramedics responded to a pedestrian crash at the intersection of Pine and Field Streets in Durban.

“Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the seriously injured woman lying in the roadway. Medics worked fervently to stabilise her at the scene and after immobilising her on a trauma board, they transported her to a local hospital for the care that she required,” he said.

Botha said the exact details to the cause of the accident will remain a subject for a South African Police investigation.
