Surprise! You have a Facebook message
Ever wondered why you didn't receive a message you may have been expecting on your Messenger app? Well here's a probable reason.
AS IF we didn’t spend enough time pouring over messages and Facebook posts, now there’s another time-consuming activity that we didn’t even know about. There is a treasure trove of Facebook messages you have received that you aren’t even aware of in your inbox.
To find this secret stash of messages – and be warned, some of them may well belong on the spam heap – you need to click onto your Messenger app
Go go to Settings, you’ll find the button at the top or bottom, depending on what phone you are using.
Then go to People and click on Message requests.
Once you have opened that, scroll down to the very bottom until you see a button named Filtered Requests.
Open that and voila! You’ll be amazed at the messages you’ve missed!
