THE Durban Events Company is bringing the Moms, Tots and Pops Fair to Durban at The Greyville Exhibition Centre on Saturday, 27 and Sunday, 28 February. This truly internationally-styled event is for the whole family and will have in excess of 100 exhibitors, fun play areas, entertainment for the whole family, a food court and of course a dedicated lounge for the pops. Its a fair for the family not to be missed out on. Tickets for the fair are available online through Nu-Tickets at R20 per adult, kids free.

CHRISTIAN’S Village Centre is holding a Shavathon at its premises at the intersection of Old Main Road and Inanda Road in Hillcrest on Saturday, 27 and Sunday, 28 February from 9am to 1pm. There are lots of activities, spin-the-wheel and lots of prizes to give away.

THE eThekwini Hospital and Heart Centre will be hosting a Pregnancy Awareness Day on Saturday, 27 February at 9am on the fourth floor of the hospital. This day is aimed at empowering pregnant women through a variety of educational talks and interaction with exhibitors and health professionals. There will be health screening and pampering for the moms-to-be. LEARN how to create a new way of appreciating how you think and engage in the world through a guided relaxation and meditation session on Saturday, 27 February at The Breathing Space, Glenwood, from 1pm to 3pm. THE Happiness Course, a meditation programme for everyone, runs every Saturday morning at 10.30am to noon at 26 Menston Road, Westville. During this course, based on a special arrangement of meditations known as Lamrim, learn how to connect to your inner potential for peace, love and freedom and begin our journey to a happiness we hardly knew existed. Everyone is welcome, suitable for absolute beginners. R60 donation to non-profit organisation.
