Sunflower Fund readies for annual breakfast

The event aims to raise awareness for The Sunflower Fund which works toward building and maintaining the SA Bone Marrow Registry.

THE 10th Annual Sunflower Fund breakfast will take place on Saturday, 12 March, at the Coastlands Musgrave Hotel, 315 Peter Mokaba Ridge, from 8.30am to 11am.

A seat at this popular breakfast is R220 per person which includes a fabulous goodie bag, a gift sponsored by Lipidol, a delicious two-course breakfast, lucky draws, pop-up shops, pampering and raffle prizes. Women can look forward to meeting two inspirational guest speakers, Derryn Campbell from Awesome SA as well as mom of three boys, Sjanine Tanner who will be sharing her story about how she pays it forward after her son died from leukaemia 3 years ago.

A prize will be on offer for the lwoman with the fanciest headgear. The event aims to raise awareness and funds for The Sunflower Fund which works toward building and maintaining the South African Bone Marrow Registry in turn giving hope to patients living with leukaemia and other life-threatening blood disorders. The more donors on the registry, the more hope patients have of finding their 1 in 100 000 lifesaving match.
