Driver injured in Morningside crash

A man was injured after the vehicle he was driving collided into two stationary vehicles in Morningside late last night.

Garrith Jamieson, operations director at Rescue Care said paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a vehicle had collided into two stationary vehicles on Trematon Drive.

“On assessment the paramedics found that the driver of the vehicle who was alone at the time had sustained moderate injuries and stabilised him on the scene and carefully extricated from the vehicle before transporting him to a nearby hospital for further care,” Jamieson explained.

While Jamieson was unaware of what led to the collision, he confirmed SAPS were in attendance and will be investigating further.
