What's on in and around Durban this week.

AWARD wining speaker and intentionally acclaimed author Dr Will Tuttle will speak on The World Peace Diet at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Innovation Centre, on Saturday 9 January at 5pm.

The topic is based on a book written by Dr Tuttle which was an Amazon best seller. A vegan since 1980, his writings and presentations focus on compassion, creativity, intuition, animal liberation, the environment, health, spiritual and peace issues.

THE Durban Seniors Social Club invites you to join us the monthly meeting on the third Wednesday, 20 January, at Berea Congregational Church Hall, entrance in Pardy Gardens Road, off Musgrave Road, Durban. THE KwaZulu-Natal Branch of the South African Military History Society will meet on Thursday 21 January at 7pm for 7.30pm at the Murray Lecture Theatre, Department of Civil Engineering, University of KwaZulu-Natal Howard College Campus.

The speakers will be a team from Glenwood High School on “Durban / Natal Sportsmen in World War 1” and Adrian Nisbett on “The von Blücher Brothers and the Invasion of Crete”.
