Durban Central SAPS are urging the community to help solve a fraud case.

DURBAN Central SAPS is appealing to the public to assist in solving a case of fraud that occurred in June.

Cash to the amount of R38 000 was fraudulently withdrawn from a man's bank account. According to Major Thulani Zwane from the SAPS, a duplicate bank card was made without his knowledge after the suspects managed to get his banking details.

“This incident happened in Johannesburg, but all withdrawals were made in Durban. Durban Central SAPS would like to appeal to members of the community to assist them,” said Major Zwane.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Det Sgt Miya on 031 325 4019 or 031 325 4176, or Crime Stop on 0860 010 111.
