WHEN Dianne Mitchell and Yvonne Schwartz from Model Dynamics and Dianne Ward from Simply Models realised it was time to create awareness of childhood cancer, they decided they wanted to make a difference through doing what they do best – by hosting the Go for Gold Mr and Miss CHOC Pageant.
Bonita Boyle, well-known model agency owner and now independent adjudicator, was only too thrilled to be a part of this amazing exciting pageant.
September is International Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and CHOC Durban in association with the modelling schools is hosting the pageant on 26 September at Hillcrest High School from 11am to 3pm. Entries are closed due to the huge demand.
CHOC is looking for donations of cake and cooldrinks for the tea garden on the same day.
