SEVEN people were injured after a minibus taxi overturned on the N3 highway in the Berea/ Tollgate Bridge area on Thursday afternoon.
Paramedics from KZN Emergency Medical Services together with paramedics from several private ambulance services attended the scene and treated six people who were in a serious condition, and another who had sustained only minor injuries.
The patients were stabilised and transported to hospitals in the area for further care.
“The cause of the crash is not known at this stage and will be investigated by the police and the labour department,” said Robert McKenzie from the Emergency Medical Services.
