Spread a little joy

A local business has shown its support for the Robin Hood Foundation's 'celebration of life' this week.

EACH year, The Robin Hood Foundation ‘takes the carnival’ along with items from a wishlist to 300 children with varying disabilities at Ethembeni School in 1000 hills, a much anticipated day to celebrate these children’s lives and bring a relief, joy and hope in spite of all the challenges they face each day.

“This is a day our team and the children at Ethembeni look forward to all year! We are so grateful to Araujo Attorneys and e4 for their support in networking and collecting items from the ‘wishlist’ the school provided for these children, little items like toothpaste, soap, towels and sheets are necessities to us but quite a luxury and a welcome blessing to those who don’t have them!” said Kim Griffith Jones, co-ordinator for The Robin Hood Foundation.

If you’d like to get involved or find out more about this celebration of life or any of Robin Hood’s other projects, contact Kim at The Robin Hood Foundation on 076 612 9060 or email: robinhoodfund@telkomsa.net
