Search for missing woman

UMBILO SAPS urges the community to provide any information on the whereabouts of Lorraine De Villiers, (36), who works as a receptionist at the doctor's rooms at 75 Helen Joseph Road, Glenwood.

According to Umbilo SAPS, Lorraine's boyfriend called her father on Saturday 5 September asking him where she was as she hadn't returned home from work on 3 September. “She had left work at 9am on 3 September and according to her father, she had asked her aunt via SMS to deposit R1 000 into her account. The police are unsure whether this was her, or if this could be someone else using her phone,” said Lt Pumzile Makaula.

Lorraine drives a dark green 2005 Hyundai Getz ND 360326. She was dressed in a dark blue nurse's Netcare uniform at the time she went missing.

A missing person's case has been opened at Umbilo SAPS. If anyone has any information that may help with finding Lorraine, contact Umbilo SAPS on 031 203 2421.
