A six-year-old boy is in a serious condition after he was hit by a light motor vehicle on Russel Street in Durban on 29 August.
ER24 paramedics, along with other services found the child lying on the side of the side of the road while the light motor vehicle had parked a few metres away.
On assessment, paramedics found that the young patient had sustained a serious injury to his head.
Paramedics treated the patient and provided him with advanced life support. Once treated, he was transported to a nearby hospital for urgent treatment.
The driver of the light motor vehicle did not sustain any injuries. Police are investigating.
