Women escape with minor injuries at Musgrave rollover crash

Two women are lucky to escape with minor injuries after a serious collision on Essenwood Road this afternoon.

TWO female motorists were lucky to get away with moderate injuries after a two car collision on Essenwood Road this afternoon.

Motorists are encouraged to steer clear of the road as authorities clear the scene.

Garrith Jamieson, operations director of Rescue Care said two women drivers were involved in the accident and one of them had a child in the vehicle.

“Witnesses said the driver in the middle lane was turning right towards, Hurst Grove Road near and hit into the vehicle on the right lane and both vehicles collided, one rolled and flipped,” he added.

While one woman was taken to hospital for moderate injuries, the child and other female driver sustained minor injuries and all were stable.

“People need to be more aware, when turning there is a blind spot turning up that road. They were both lucky to escape with mild injuries after the serious collision,” Jamieson added.
