THE Watercolour Society – KZN 's annual art exhibition is on from 5 to 30 August at Longmynd Gallery, 24 Old Main Road, Hillcrest. Twenty artists, including well-known South African watercolourists, are participating in this exhibition which is titled “All About Colour”. The opening will be on Wednesday 5 August at 6pm. THE KwaZulu-Natal Branch of the South African Military History Society will meet on Thursday 13 August at the Murray Lecture Theatre, Department of Civil Engineering, University of KwaZulu-Natal Howard College Campus at 7pm.

The speakers will be Jesse Wesseloo on The World of Admiral de Ruyter and Stephen Coan on The Great Escape; The South African Connection.

THE Durban Seniors Social Club will meet on Wednesday 19 August at Berea Congregational Church hall, Pardy Gardens Road, off Musgrave Road at 9am for 9.30am.

Guest speakers will be Zoe, a journalist, and her husband Schalk van der Merwe, a biokineticist. All welcome. Go and enjoy an interesting morning.

NAZARETH House Charity Shop, 82 South Ridge Road, Berea is open daily Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 2.30pm.The charity shop raises much-needed funds for the home and needs the support of the public.
